We offer corporate team building and social events with cooking as the focused activity. Ranging from an intensely competitive event such as the Iron Chef Challenge to a more relaxing Demo and Dine Theme Dinner, our customized dinners will suit virtually any unique corporate function. Our event planner will assist you with all the arrangements from the menu selection to the appropriate theme to suit the specific occasion.
Iron Chef Challenge
This is adapted from a sanctioned culinary event called the Mystery Box Challenge. All participating teams will have to prepare, utilizing the featured ingredients and a set time frame, a complete entree with full accompaniments. On completion of the event, a catered 3-course dinner will be served and the results of the winning team are announced during dessert.
Demo and Dine
A Demo and Dine event gives the guests the opportunity to participate in the preparation of their dinner. A theme or menu is selected and the instructor will explain the techniques and cooking methods to the audience whilst encouraging them to step forth with the preparation. This event allows audience participation with the guidance of a processional chef imparting cooking advice and tips on cooking. A truly entertaining event combining dining and learning in one package.
Dining and Meeting Room Facilities
The Centre has dining and meeting room facilities suitable for corporate and social gatherings. It is conveniently located at the north-east comer of 16th Avenue and Leslie Street in Richmond Hill, two lights west of Hwy 404, with ample car parking around the complex. It is suitable for social or corporate gatherings with an open concept kitchen for live cooking demonstrations (optional) and ample seating for 60 dining or 90 conference set- ups. All food and beverage services are provided exclusively by Eidolon Catering.
